Who We Are
-
Barney McDonald | Founder & Director
Barney believes that sport can play a critical role in child and adolescent development. A private practice lawyer by day, Barney has also worked in-house for a leading international children's charity. His favoured sports are basketball, AFL, and rugby union, and he is ever optimistic that the Bledisloe Cup will return to its rightful home.
-
Shane Anderton | Chairman
Shane is the Chairman of Pass to Me. He has over 20 years experience as a lawyer with particular expertise in corporate governance and financial services regulation. Shane sits on various boards, and has a keen interest in sports management and administration. A kiwi born and bred, Shane has travelled extensively before settling in Australia with his wife and family.
-
Shanna Protic Dib | Director
Shanna believes that there are few universal languages that truly transcend any social, cultural or economic barriers in society, of which sport is one. She also believes that the most valuable offering to another person is opportunity. As a lawyer, Shanna is passionate about engaging with her creative and adventurous side as often as possible (including through sport - she is a black belt in kempo karate).
-
Nick Charlwood | Director
Nick is a strong advocate for the wide range of benefits that participation in sport can provide communities and individuals. Nick is passionate about giving back and believes the opportunities that he can provide through Pass To Me can have a tangible benefit to the lives of its partner communities. You will find Nick watching any sport that he can, but he is a keen follower of rugby union, AFL and cricket.
-
Conor Foley | Director
Conor has an extensive background in competitive sport, both within Australia and around the world. This has given him a unique understanding of the benefits that sport can provide to all. Hailing from regional New South Wales, Conor also understands the unique challenges that many rural communities face. Through his involvement with Pass To Me, he hopes to create the possibility for others to have the same rewarding experiences through sport that he had growing up.
-
Jonathan Kim | CFO
Jonathan is passionate about the role sport plays in building stronger communities and fostering individual growth. Having spent time working in regional areas, he has witnessed the challenges faced by communities with limited access to resources and opportunities and is eager to help level the playing field. Jonathan currently works in banking at a leading Australian commercial bank and is a qualified accountant with over seven years of prior experience in professional services.
-
Louise Finegan | Company Secretary
Louise is passionate about providing young people with positive sporting experiences, knowing the pivotal role sport played in her own development growing up. Her governance expertise is drawn from many years working within the not-for-profit sector, and she is driven to use this knowledge to create meaningful change. Originally from Victoria, AFL is in Louise’s blood, and while she enjoys many other sports, it will always be her one true love.
